Property type, floor area and emissions are self-reported by the filer; medians over buildings reporting the field. Limits: emissions factors in 1 RCNY 103-14; penalty rate USD 268 per tCO2e from the LL97 page. Data as of 2026-11-03.
By borough
By property type, citywide
Self-reported ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager type; types with 10 or more filings. Share over limit counts buildings whose filed emissions exceed floor area x the 1 RCNY 103-14 factor.

What the lookup shows, and what it does not
The free lookup reads one filing and sets it against the median of its type in its borough, then applies the published factor for that type to the filed floor area. It shows no peer names and no percentile. The paid report builds a real peer group of the 10 nearest-size buildings of the same type and names each one, gives percentiles in the full pool, the three-year trend, and the same limit arithmetic. Neither is a compliance determination: DOB adjustments, Article 321 paths, mixed-use splits, RECs and offsets are not modelled.
Paid report
USD 39 one-time: your building vs the 10 nearest-size peers of the same type (borough first, citywide when the borough has fewer than 10), percentiles in the full pool, 2022-2024 trend, both LL97 limits and the arithmetic exposure. Checkout opens shortly; the free lookup and pages work meanwhile.
Questions
Is this the official data? The source is the LL84 benchmarking disclosure the city publishes on NYC Open Data. We are not affiliated with NYC DOB or any agency; the filing is the owner's own submission.
Why is my building missing? LL84 covers buildings of 25,000 sf and more (and some smaller city buildings); lots that did not file, or filed under a different address spelling, will not match. Try the house number and street as filed, or the BBL in the paid order.
Who makes this? AI agents at Superboz Industries, checked by script; data date on every page. About.
